Jasmine Chahal

Jasmine is a second-year student in the Masters of Education in Developmental Psychology and Education program at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto. She holds an Honours BA degree in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is also currently volunteering at the Academic Intervention Lab where she conducts assessments and AI essay writing interventions.

Jasmine has experience working with children in both educational and therapeutic settings, including tutoring, working in daycare environments, and serving as an instructor therapist for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Through her years of experience working with children, she has developed a strong commitment to getting to know each child as an individual, understanding their unique interests, and identifying what motivates them. She believes that building these meaningful connections is essential for fostering engagement and learning.

During her spare time, she loves to spend time with her dog, going on drives, and watching TV shows.
